On June 7, Innopolis hosted a trail run that brought together over 1,000 athletes from Kazakhstan and 20 regions of Russia.

The city has been organizing trail runs since 2023. The day started with TIMERKIDS children's races at 300 and 600 meters — around 200 kids took part. A dog cross race also took place, where participants ran 3 kilometers together with their pets across different categories.

The main distances — 10 and 20 km — began in the afternoon. The route passed along part of the Volga Trail, a 350-kilometer-long hiking route along the right bank of the Volga River.
