On August 15, the traditional summer steeplechase "Race of Heroes" will be held in the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2026, the event will be held for the first time in the Innopolis Special Economic Zone. The Race of Heroes is one of the flagship projects of the League of Heroes, the organizer of mass sporting events.

Participants will enjoy a 10 km long track consisting of 30 tests of varying degrees of difficulty for strength, agility and endurance. The obstacle course will traditionally include handgrips of varying degrees of difficulty, as well as ditches and obstacles made of water and mud. The "Hero Race" will be crowned by the traditional "Everest" - an 8-meter mountain with ropes, requiring an almost vertical ascent. 

An important detail of the Innopolis Race will be that part of the route will be laid along the famous Volga Trail, the region's dominant tourist attraction, located along the right bank of the Volga River. Thus, going to the start, athletes will be able to admire the picturesque views of a unique natural monument. 

It will be possible to take part in the "Race of Heroes" as part of a team of 10 people, accompanied by a professional instructor, as well as individually as part of a mass start. In addition, the strongest athletes will compete for the gold of the Race of Heroes Championship, which will be held both in the absolute standings (PRO format) and in four age categories from 18 to 40+ years (AGE format). 

The launch of corporate teams will take place separately. More than 110 teams from the largest companies of the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia will take part in it. The Innopolis team will also take to the track. It will include well–known scientists and representatives of the world-renowned IT community.
