A meeting was held in the city with legendary cosmonaut pilots and space industry experts - Heroes of Russia Alexander Kaleri and Yuri Usachev, as well as with the head of the ballistics department of the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia, Rafail Murtazin. The event was held as part of the Gagarin Decade in the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the flight of Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space.

They talked with lyceum students and students of Innopolis University about the future of engineering professions, space and what the path to the stars really looks like.

The event was attended by President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Mayor Ildar Khuzzyatov and Zurab Otarashvili, Advisor to the Rector of Innopolis University.
